....as I was about to get myself onto that wall (...hoping that this would really never make any newspaper! that would be double emberrassing) ... and my head peeked out above the next Wall I had to climb, I saw a local lady walking her dog and she was coming downhill towards me. She would pass me by in a few moments!! I quickly turned around, nearly fell off the wall the wrong way around but managed to hold balance and jump off right behind the gate while loudly saying "EXCUSE MEEE, CAN YOU PLEASE HELP", giving the poor lady a near 'heart-attack' as she was about to pass by.... read more >

It's July 8th and I am in Malta for a much-needed little break. It’s beautiful here and while relaxing I am working daily with 'Forgiveness'. Having worked with this topic for a few years I've learned there is always more to forgive. The more we forgive, the free-er we become inside.

It so happened that my hotel is opposite the beautiful St. Peter Church, next to it is the Sanctuary of Mother Mary and underneath an ancient Grotto dedicated to "Our Lady of Mellieha".  I love to meditate in churches, little chapels and tempels when they are empty just to soak up the energy. Ancient grotto's are for sure my favorite. There's something so special and healing about being IN the earth. I often receive great insights and visions in places like these, so having this grotto at my 'frontdoor' was unexpected but just perfect.

This Grotto is especially made for the Sacred Mother in 1644 by Mario de Vassi and it is absolutely stunning in it’s simplicity and energy. It's supposed to be the oldest grotto like this on earth.
